The brief: Weatherford approached Deepblue’s specialist 3D division, 3D Aberdeen, to produce a 3D animation showing the intricacies of their Denizen system. The video was then used across the major social channels – YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram – as well as at trade shows, conferences and on the company website.

The challenge: 3D video is the tool of choice when it comes to outlining complex subsea operations – due mostly to the fact that filming these processes in a real-world setting is well-nigh impossible. Using detailed plan drawings of the company’s equipment, we constructed an engaging animation showing the processes in a subsea environment.

The result: As the Denizen system was relatively new, the company was looking for a way to promote its capabilities. This video spread the word, won Weatherford new clients and helped the company expand its customer list.
