The brief: Oil and gas specialists, SLD, were looking to expand their business and win new clients with their innovative subsea products so commissioned 3D Aberdeen (our specialist 3D division) to produce an immersive 3D video. The firm then used the edit in client meetings and across the major social channels – YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram – to help promote the system.

The challenge: Filming equipment in a subsea environment simply isn’t feasible as a way to explain how the majority of oil and gas products function. Consequently, 3D video was selected as the best media to show how their system works.

The result: SLD used Deepblue’s engaging 3D animation in client meetings and across social media to help promote the product and earn new clients.
