The brief: Scotland’s Lecht ski centre approached 3D Aberdeen (Deepblue’s specialist 3D department) for the production of a 3D video showing the ski area, lifts and pistes which they subsequently used on their website and the normal social channels – YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

The challenge: While drone footage may have worked for this project, 3D still gave us more flexibility in terms of the angles and views we could generate – plus meant we weren’t hindered by unpredictable weather or snow conditions. 3D also gives views that are often not possible with traditional filming.

The result: The Lecht used this video on their website and social channels, increasing their online exposure and generating more visitors.
