The brief: Scotland’s Lecht ski centre commissioned 3D Aberdeen (our dedicated 3D department) to produce a 3D video showing their new summer facilities. The area then used the edit on their website and the main social channels – YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram – to generate interest and gain new customers.

The challenge: Compared to some other Scottish ski areas, the Lecht were quite late in expanding into summer operations so needed to find a way to showcase their new deval kart and mountain bike tracks. 3D video was the perfect way to do this and give a detailed view of the new facilities – and had the added advantage of removing a reliance on often unpredictable weather conditions.

The result: The 3D summer video was used on the Lecht website as well as across social media to help inform the public of the area’s new summer operations.
