The brief: Rigmar’s oil rig cleaning, refurb and repair system was groundbreaking but, as with all truly innovative products, quite hard to explain with just words or photos. The company chose to approach Deepblue to design a range of marketing materials, including this immersive 3D video outlining their product. These videos were then used in a Deepblue-produced presentation, at client meetings and across all the major social channels – YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram – to promote the service and win new clients.

The challenge: As is so often the case, 3D video was the best media to explain how the firm’s system worked in an engaging and informative format. This type of video would not have been possible using traditional, real-world filming.

The result: This 3D Aberdeen oil and gas video was a huge success for the firm and gave an easy-to-understand, informative and engaging view of the system at work. It was used extensively by the firm and succeeded in helping the firm to gain new business.
